Entry Requirements

Greenfield College has course-specific entry requirements to ensure that students have the appropriate skills, knowledge, and English language ability to successfully complete their chosen program.

Applicants must meet the academic, English language, and any additional course requirements outlined below. Meeting these requirements helps ensure students are prepared for the level of study and the learning outcomes of the course.

All applicants must also:

be at least 18 years of age at course commencement

provide valid identification and academic documents

meet student visa requirements if applying as an international student

AHC50422 Diploma of Horticulture Management	Applicants must demonstrate prior horticulture knowledge and skills through previous study or industry experience. Required Units: AHCCHM304 Transport and store chemicals AHCCHM307 Prepare and apply chemicals to control pests, weeds and diseases AHCPCM308 Identify and select plants AHCPMG301 Control weeds AHCPMG302 Control plant pests, diseases and disorders AHCSOL304 Implement soil improvements for garden and turf areas AHCWHS302 Contribute to workplace health and safety processes Additional Requirements: Be 18 years or older Demonstrate ACSF Level 3 or equivalent IELTS 6.0 overall (or equivalent)

Greenfield College accepts a range of recognised English language tests including:

IELTS

PTE Academic

TOEFL iBT

Cambridge English

Equivalent scores may be accepted in accordance with the college’s admissions policy.

Additional Requirements

Some courses may require students to:

participate in practical training activities

follow workplace health and safety procedures

use industry tools and equipment

complete assessments in simulated or workplace environments
