The CPC31020 Certificate III in Solid Plastering provides students with the skills and knowledge required to work in the solid plastering trade within the building and construction industry. 

Students learn how to apply plaster, cement, and related materials to interior and exterior surfaces to create smooth, protective, and decorative finishes for residential and commercial construction projects.  

This qualification combines foundation construction skills with specialist plastering techniques, preparing students for employment in the construction industry. 

Graduates of this qualification may pursue roles such as: 

  • Solid Plasterer 
  • Renderer 
     

This qualification also supports apprenticeship pathways within the construction industry.  

While the training package does not specify entry requirements, Greenfield College requires applicants to: 

  • be at least 18 years of age 
  • demonstrate ACSF Level 3 or equivalent 
  • have completed Year 12 or AQF Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) 
  • demonstrate IELTS overall score of 6.0 or equivalent 
  • complete LLND and digital skills assessments if required

There are no mandatory work placement requirements for this qualification.  

Greenfield College provides all required materials, tools, and equipment for training and assessment. Students complete practical training in a supervised workshop environment designed to reflect real construction settings. 

Students may apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) if they can demonstrate competency through previous training, work experience, or life experience.  

Credit Transfer is available for students who have completed equivalent units with another Registered Training Organisation.
